Enermax today launched its latest power supplies as part of its NAXN series. The NAXN series is targeted at the gaming market and comprises of both modular and non-modular models. All of the new PSUs include Enermax's HeatGuard technology, in which the 120mm PSU fan continues to operate for 30-60 seconds after the unit is turned off. This removes excess heat to prolong the life of the PSU. Other features such as active PFC (Power Factor Correction) and voltage protection circuitry are enabled across the entire series. The NAXN 80+ power supplies are non-modular and will come in 350W ($44), 450W ($49), 500W ($64) and 600W ($74) models, the latter two being 80 PLUS certified. The higher-end NAXN 82+ power supplies will be available in two models, a dual 12V rail 750W and an 850W, both with 80 PLUS Bronze certification. The 750W model will be priced at $134 with the 850W version's pricing still to be announced.
