Mionix has announced a software update to its NAOS 5000 gaming mouse, reviewed here by OCC. Version 1.17 offers a few updates, as well as a new feature. The new feature is called angle snapping, and aims to improve the path the mouse takes. Angle snapping can sense the tiny deviations when making vertical and horizontal movements, and corrects them to straighten the path the mouse takes. No predictions about future movement are made, only corrections to past movements. The software updates come in the form of an updated GUI and fixing a bug with 125Hz mode.
