Google had been talking about getting the Android Market available on the Internet, and now it has. The Android Market is now accessible via a computer or any web-connected device and lets you browse the entire Market for any apps you wish. Once you find an app that you want, you purchase it, and then it sends the app to your Android phone over-the-air. You can make a nickname for your phone to make it easier to find, such as if you have multiple phones tied to the same account, or for just general ease of use. Also, Google announced that in-app purchases will soon be a reality as the SDK for that is being released to developers today. Google cites widespread developer interest as the reason for allowing in-app purchases, so it shouldn't be long before microtransactions take hold for apps that wish to have it.

To check out the Android Market on your PC, simply head on over to the store and browse away.
