ZOTAC has unveiled two mini-PCs based on AMD's upcoming Fusion platform. The ZBOX Blu-ray AD03 series is built around the AMD E-350 APU, consisting of a 1.6GHz dual core processor and the Radeon HD 6310 GPU clocked at 500MHz. The Radeon HD 6310 includes 80 shader units and supports DirectX11, Shader Model 5 and AMD's UVD technology. As the series name suggests, an integrated slot-loading Blu-ray player is also included allowing a high-definition image and audio output via HDMI. The ZBOX Blu-ray mini-PCs feature Gigabit ethernet and wireless 802.11n connectivity along with two USB 3.0 ports, a combo eSATA/USB 2.0 port, a mini PCIe slot and a six-in-one card reader. A variety of outputs are also included such as VGA, DVI and HDMI. The lower-end ZBOX Blu-ray AD03 requires the user to supply memory and a hard drive for the two DDR3-1066 SODIMM slots and the 2.5" drive bay, where as the higher-end ZBOX Blu-ray AD03 Plus includes 2GB of DDR3 memory and a 250GB 5400RPM hard drive. Although ZOTAC did not disclose details on availability or pricing of these mini-PCs, I'd expect ZOTAC to showcase these compact computers later this week at CES 2011.
