G.Skill Launches RipjawsX RAM for Intel Sandy Bridge
A new processor series means new RAM modules get launched that are designed with it in mind. Since Intel Sandy Bridge has now been reviewed, we have one of the first RAM kits designed just for it. G.Skill is launching its RipjawsX RAM for Sandy Bridge, which will come in a variety of frequencies. All told, there will be 1333, 1600, 1866, 2133, 2200, and 2300MHz modules available which means everybody will be able to get the ideal RAM for their brand new Sandy Bridge system. Highlights of the upper frequencies include the 2300MHz in a CL7 4GB (2x2GB) kit, a 2133MHz in a CL8-9-8 4GB (2x2GB) kit, and the 2200MHz highlight will be a CL9 16GB (4x4GB) kit. Not too shabby for those high frequencies, plus every single RipjawsX stick is tested on the Sandy Bridge platform to ensure maximum stability and performance. Every RipjawsX kit comes with G.Skill's lifetime warranty and technical support, so if anything ever does go wrong, you are covered.
No word on when or what prices the G.Skill RipjawsX kits will be available at, but with the Sandy Bridge platform beginning to roll out, I expect we will see more information soon.
