It's the final days leading up to CES 2011 and that means new releases so I hope you're like me and have the day off, because you're going to need a bit of extra time to read all the reviews on the latest processors from Intel. We've all heard about the new processors, code named "Sandy Bridge", for some time now and Intel has pulled the wraps off a couple of the desktop units as well as processors for mobile applications. This is the latest 'tock' in Intel's tick-tock release strategy and introduces us to the new Sandy Bridge micro-architecture. For the desktop there's the Core i7-2600K and i5-2500K and that means we also need a new platform based on Intel's 6-series P67/H67 chipset socket 1155 motherboards. For the mobile market we also pulled up some reviews on the Core i7-2820QM processor. So, I'm sure lots of you are curious about rumors that overclocking the new CPUs is no longer possible. Well, as OCC reviewer ccokeman shows us, this is not the case, so read on to find out all the latest on these new CPUs.
