Video card manufacturer Galaxy is preparing its debut into the Solid State Drive (SSD) market with the reveal of four new SSDs. All models in Galaxy's SSD line will be built on the 2.5" form factor, feature a 64MB cache and support the Windows 7 TRIM command. Galaxy promises read speeds of up to 240MB/s and write speeds of up to 215MB/s using the SATA 3Gb/s interface. The new SSD series will consist of 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB variants. As always, I'd expect to hear more details about these SSDs at CES 2011.
