Corsair Unveils Low Voltage 2133MHz DDR3 Memory Modules

Corsair today unveiled a new high-speed, low voltage memory kit as part of its Dominator GT series. The memory kit is guaranteed to run at a blazing 2133MHz along with timings of 9-11-9-27, at the low voltage of only 1.5V, making it perfect for high-performance systems. The new kit consists of two matched 2GB modules (2x2GB) adding to a total of 4GB.

Thi La, Vice President of Memory Products at Corsair said that "We have seen an increasing number of requests from overclockers for memory that can achieve high clock speeds at lower voltages. At 2133MHz, this 4GB memory is the world's fastest commercially available memory at 1.5 volts."

The Corsair Dominator GT memory kit (CMT4GX3M2B2133C9) will feature Corsair's signature red aesthetics and DHX+ heatsinks bundled with a GT Airflow module to help enhance memory cooling. The new memory kit will be available within two weeks for a retail price of US$169.99. As always, the memory modules will be backed by Corsair's limited lifetime warranty.
