Well, it certainly didn't take long for Samsung to sell a ton of Galaxy Tabs. Just a short while after announcing it had sold over half a million tablets, the company has just announced it has sold one million Galaxy Tabs worldwide. The Galaxy Tab has been sold by all four major carriers in the U.S. and each one has marketed it pretty well. There is no word on exactly how much of that one million figure is just from the U.S., likewise it is unclear whether the one million is sold to consumers or just units shipped to retailers and the like. At any rate, with having sold 600,000 just the other week it is impressive to see an additional 400,000 sold in that short time. I suspect the recent holiday shopping had something to do with that figure. Samsung is expected to hit 1.5 million Galaxy Tabs sold by year's end, and somehow I don't think there will be a problem reaching that number.
