Zalman, a name synonymous with high quality cooling and computer cases, is looking to break into a new market. The Zalman N Series is a new line of solid state drives. In an arena featuring big names in memory and storage like Corsair, OCZ, and G Skill, Zalman looks like the little fish in the pond. The N Series will feature the Sandforce SF-1222 controller, which has been making a big name for itself lately. It will be available in 64GB and 128GB models, priced at $169 and $289 respectively. According to Legit Reviews, the drive features similar performance to the other drives based on this controller. With the market becoming saturated with drives, it should only be a matter of time before consumers begin to feel the benefits of competition.
