There's no denying that e-readers, and by extension e-books, are getting to be quite popular. They are so popular in fact, that market research firm Forrester expects e-book sales to reach nearly one billion dollars this year alone. What's more is that number is expected to rise to nearly three billion by the year 2015. Forrester surveyed 4,000 people and found that only seven percent of them read e-books, but that seven percent accounts for a huge number of sales as 41% of the books bought are digital. However, that doesn't mean all the reading is done on an e-reader as 35% read e-books on a laptop, with 32% done on a Kindle, 15% on an iPhone, 12% on a Sony e-reader, and 10% on a netbook. Kindle users do account for a large number of sales by themselves, as 66% of all books bought by Kindle users are digital.
