TomTom has just launched two new GPS units today which include some new updates and features. The two units are the GO 2405 TM and the GO 2505 TM and each feature TomTom's redesigned user interface. The UI has been redesigned to be more user-friendly by allowing any destination to be routed in just a few taps on the touchscreen. TomTom developed a new, high-speed algorithm which allows for instant route planning. This means it is continuously planning your route to get you to your destination with as little traffic as possible. The touchscreen on these units is of the capacitive variety and feature a brighter display than past models. You can easily navigate with one finger or use two fingers to pinch and zoom on the maps. The GO 2405 TM features a 4.3" screen while the GO 2505 TM has a 5" screen, but if you want to forgo that then you can use your voice to operate the unit.

The TomTom GO series is available now at Amazon.com, BestBuy.com, and TomTom.com with retail store availability expected during the middle of next year. The GO 2405 TM will cost you $299 while the GO 2505 TM is $319.
