iPhones in Europe Hit With Daylight Savings Time Bug

Category: Mobile
Posted: 08:36AM

Several iPhone users in Europe have been reporting that alarms that were set were going off an hour late due to Daylight Savings Time. Apple was already aware of the bug as it happened to iPhone users in Australia a few weeks ago. The clock was updated, but the alarm wasn't. Apple had promised a software update to fix the issue after it was made aware of it after it hit Australia, but none was rolled out. For any users in North America, you may want to be careful this weekend when the continent hits DST. Some users in the United States are currently reporting that their alarms are going off an hour early. The bug doesn't appear to affect all alarms, and seems to affect those that are set to repeat, but not repeat every day.
