Early Details and a Video for Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm
The announcements keep coming at Blizzcon, though this one isn't as big as the Diablo 3 announcement. During a Q&A session with developers, a few details were revealed about the next chapter in the Starcraft saga, Heart of the Swarm. A seemingly obvious detail is that it will take place after the end of the Wings of Liberty campaign, though a concrete time frame wasn't specified. Also revealed was that Samir Duran, a villain from Brood War, could make a reappearance. Duran was responsible for the Protoss/Zerg hybrids seen in Wings of Liberty. The news that nobody wants to hear is that the game likely won't be out until after 2011. Check out a concept video while you wait.
