With all the functionality embedded in mobile devices these days, it pays to have a high capacity storage card. Until recently Kingston offered its microSDHC cards in capacities up to 16GB. Today the company announced it will ship its first 32GB microSDHC Class 4 card on Monday, October 11. Imagine being able to store nearly 29,000 photos, over 6,000 songs and more than 2,000 minutes of video.
Kingston has tested the new high-capacity cards on the latest smartphones including the HTC Evo 4G and Shadow, Motorola Droid X, BlackBerry Bold 9000 and the Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant to ensure compatibility. The card is also available with a variety of adapters including SD and miniSD and you can also get a small USB reader for convenient data transfers. The base base price for the card itself is $153US; the price with two adapters or the USB reader is only $6 more.
