Gearbox Software CEO and President Randy Pitchford took the stage at Firstlook 2010 in Amsterdam, Netherlands a few days ago to show off Duke Nukem Forever, the long-awaited first person shooter. For those of us who didn't get to attend the gaming convention, an attendee shot a video of the presentation and posted it to YouTube.

[NSFW]

The video contains boatloads of explicit language and sexual conotations, so if that kind of stuff bothers and/or disgusts you, well then you obviously didn't play Duke Nukem 3D, so what are you doing reading this?

Slated for Early 2011. Some retailers are listing Feb 1, but retailers generally tend to guess at such things until a firm date is set.

Who ever played the demo was an idiot, I mean really the whole into, he couldn't stay alive worth a crap... I honestly don't see the whole hoopla this game has >.>

Couldn't stay alive? He died ONCE. So? I actually enjoy it when presenters die in a game, not because I have some sadistic tendencies, but rather because it actually shows me they're really playing in the moment and not using God Mode.

Maybe that's why I see it somewhat poorer... I enjoy god mode when showing off a game that's been long awaiting. I don't like it when they ruin the difficulty of the enemies on a demo, it's like ruining a big surprise :( Plus with god mode we get to see all of the aesthetic's and artwork that got put into the game instead of worrying what's around the corner, regardless, without differing opinions we wouldn't be human right? ^^
