This one is a little bit of a head scratcher. NVIDIA is going to start selling video cards at Best Buy that are pure reference. This means that these cards will carry only the NVIDIA logo and none of the add-in board partners typically associated with selling an NVIDIA video card. Best Buy will be the only place you can buy these reference cards which strikes me as a bit odd. Foxconn will be making the reference cards though NVIDIA will have a three year warranty on each one. NVIDIA is seeing the reference cards as a "complement" to the AIB partners but I am sure none of them will see it quite like that. Though, hopefully this means the AIB partners will then come up with better and more efficient cooling methods as a means to direct sales towards them. In any case, it should be interesting to see the pricing of the reference cards at Best Buy compared to the prices of the AIB partner cards already sold there.
