Black Ops Prestige Edition to Include RC-XD Remote Control Car

Category: Gaming, Gadgets

Treyarch has upped the game a notch and is going to include a remote-control vehicle in its Prestige Edition for Call of Duty: Black Ops. The vehicle dubbed the "RC-XD" is based on the in-game killstreak reward and will feature audio and color video transmission to a remote transmitter, up to 60 feet. The video feed will be displayed on the "pistol grip style" remote control which includes a 220x176 built in 2" color screen. Other features include independent suspension and high and low speed settings.

The Prestige Edition will also contain all the contents of the Hardened edition: the Black Ops game, a SteelBook case, limited-edition Black Ops medal and display case and a special Black Ops avatar outfit for Xbox Live or Playstation Home. The Hardened Edition also includes 4 additional co-op maps not in the standard version of the game, which were revealed today by Treyarch Community Manager Josh Olin to be "all 4 existing [Call of Duty: World at War] Zombies maps."

The Call of Duty: Black Ops Prestige and Hardened Editions are available for pre-order now priced at approximately $79.99 and $149.99 respectively. Interestingly there seems to be no Prestige Edition available for PC, although Treyarch has not yet explained this absence.

meh i could build one 10x better then this cheap looking toy. im not even mildly interested in this game, and if they aren't even releasing a collectors edition for pc then it re-enforces my cynicism as all im seeing is the cold shoulder attitude to us yet again.
