Duke Nukem Forever to Finally See the Light of Day?

There are few games that can compare to how long Duke Nukem Forever has been in development limbo  . The game has been talked about for ages and even though some snippets of information and screenshots have been released, the latest news was that game was forever lost to the video game gods. However, all that has changed apparently when some news broke that Duke Nukem Forever had found a new developer in the form of Gearbox Software. Gearbox is the developer of Brothers in Arms, Borderlands, and the upcoming Aliens: Colonial Marines so it stands to reckon that if any company can finally create DNF, Gearbox would be it. Gearbox was slated to make a Duke Nukem spinoff titled Duke Begins but that was canned at the start of this year so perhaps it managed to pick up the rights to Duke Nukem Forever. There are rumors that a playable demo of the game will be available at the end of the year but until that happens I am keeping that under rumor. Maybe there will be some news at a gaming conference or something, so take this bit of information with a grain of salt.

I don't think anyone cares anymore to be honest. If it happens, it happens.
