The iPhone Dev Team has done it again, and have released a new way to jailbreak the iPhone, including the new iPhone 4. Users need only an internet connection and mobile Safari for it to work. However, this jailbreak will only allow unapproved apps to be installed, and users cannot take their phone to another carrier. Users just have to visit jailbreakme.com in mobile Safari, and it will do the rest. It takes advantage of a security hole related to PDF files. Users who jailbreak their phones don't have to worry about any copyright claims as it has been labeled fair use, but Apple could still void your warranty.
