Motorola Droid 2 Will be Available Next Month

Motorola will continue the onslaught of Android phones with the Droid 2, available mere weeks after the Droid X, and will be available next month. The Droid 2 will be the first Android device to come with Android 2.2 installed. The Droid 2 looks similar to the original Droid, but looks can be deceiving. The Droid 2 will feature much more powerful components, starting with a 1GHz processor. Also included are 512MB of RAM and a 5 megapixel camera. Motorola is also including its MotoBlur interface, allowing for easier viewing of Facebook updates and text messages. It is reported that the phone will cost $200 with a new contract.
