Hardware Roundup: Thursday Edition

There are many choices and some tradeoffs to be made when selecting a case. If you're a gamer then you want a case that will support the latest (read long) graphics cards, but if you like to show off your skills at LAN parties, you don't want to break your back lugging a full-size monster case around. The In Win Dragon Slayer case attempts to address the LAN party side of things as it supports the Micro ATX form factor while providing enough room to fit full-size video cards. The Cooler Master Storm Scout case (also reviewed by OCC here) is a bit larger, being a mid-tower case, but allows you to use regular sized ATX motherboards. The Antec DF-85 Dark Fleet full-tower cases comes in at the other end of the size spectrum with seven pre-installed fans and enough room to mount just about any thing else you might need. Cooler Master also offers a line of more budget friendly cases including the USP 100 chassis which offers a bit of flair along with a 550W power supply.
