Logitech has announced two new headsets today, the USB Headset H530 and the Laptop Headset H555. Both headsets are aimed more for voice communications rather than gaming but I think either one would work out just fine in a game. Each headset makes use of super wideband audio which can be used in Logitech Vid, Skype 4.0 for Windows and Skype 2.8 for Mac. Super wideband audio helps to make your voice more natural when it is transmitted and also will use less bandwidth to transmit your voice.
The Logitech USB Headset H530 features laser-tuned drivers and a USB connection to provide clear audio for voice communications as well as for music, movies, and games. It features on-ear controls as well as a cushioned headband and ear cups for comfort. The Laptop Headset H555 features a foldable design that will make the headset lay completely flat during transport. It is a behind-the-head design with adjustable ear pieces to provide a comfortable and lightweight fit. It also features a USB connection to deliver clear audio. Both headsets feature a noise-canceling microphone so that only your voice will be transmitted during a call or game.
Both headsets are available now with the USB Headset H530 priced at $49.99 and the Laptop Headset H555 priced at $59.99.
