First seen during our Computex coverage, Aerocool has gone ahead and officially launched its Shark line of case fans. The Shark fans come in either a 120mm or 140mm variant and feature fifteen blades that have a unique "Shark Fin" shape. Each fan features Fluid Dynamic Bearings, black sleeved cables, a MTBF of 1,000,000 hours, and operate at either 800 or 1500RPM. The Shark fans come with a voltage reduction cable that will lower the voltage from 12 volts down to 7 volts which will drop the RPM down to 800. When the fan is at 800RPM, it should generate 12.6dBa and when it is at 1500RPM it will be at 29.6dBa. No word on the CFM produced by these fans but hopefully that information will be made available before it goes on sale.
The Aerocool Shark fans will come in four different colors, including three LED colors, and will be available starting in September. The 120mm fans will be 12.90 Euros and the 140mm fans will be 15.90 Euros.
