Apple Address iPhone 4 Antenna Issues, Gives Free Bumpers for All

When Apple announced it was going to hold a press conference earlier this week, some speculation started about what it would be about. Well, that press conference happened today and Apple has addressed the problem of the iPhone 4 and its antenna. Apple's solution? Anyone who has or will purchase an iPhone 4 before September 30th will get a free bumper for the phone. This simple solution should hopefully solve the antenna issue and all the dropped calls when you hold the phone a certain way. Even still, the bumper may not always work and there should still be a bit of interference when you hold the phone, but it should help out some. If you had previously purchased a bumper to alleviate the issue then you simply need to talk to Apple to get a refund. If you are still unhappy with the solution you can return your iPhone 4 for a full refund. The Apple iPhone 4 bumper is a $30 solution but since iPhone 4 users will be getting a free one, I don't think many people will argue with that.
