Motorola Charm Official, Heading to T-Mobile
It had been talked about for a few days and now Motorola has officially dropped the curtain on its latest Android device, the Charm. The Motorola Charm will be heading to T-Mobile and should be available this summer. The Charm is packing Android 2.1 with Motoblur so social networking is going to be a major selling point for this phone. The phone has a full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.8 inch touchscreen, though Motorola promises that the touchscreen will not be needed for every input because of the rear touchpad. That touchpad is dubbed the "Backtrack" and it will have a similar feature to the pad found on the back of the Motorola Backflip.
The Charm is coming with Adobe Flash Lite which will make web browsing that much nicer of an experience. On the rear of the phone is a 3 megapixel camera that uses Kodak technology which is an interesting choice but should work out just fine. There is also a second microphone on the Charm to allow for crystal clear phone calls using Motorola CrystalTalk technology.
No word on pricing was announced at this time but expect that closer to the phone's launch.
