Altec Lansing Debuts New Computer Speakers

If you are in the market for some new computer speakers, Altec Lansing may have something for you. The company today has announced its newest speaker system, the Octane 7, and is aiming it at desktop or laptop users who desire exceptional audio. The Octane 7, or VS4621, will be replacing the VS4121 system and hopes to deliver as good or better sound as that popular system. The Octane 7s will be a 2.1 set that features a powerful 6 1/2 inch side-firing subwoofer, down-firing 3 inch mid-range speakers, and dual 1 inch micro-drivers. The whole get up arrives in a contemporay design that has a small footprint so it should be able to fit in any location you want. The speakers also feature compatibilty with MP3, CD, and DVD players so you have a large variety of sources to use them on.
