iOS Update To Resolve Signal Issue Coming Soon

A highly publicized issue with the iPhone 4 may not be hardware related as previously thought. When the iPhone 4 is held certain ways, primarily in the left hand, it begins to lose signal at a steady pace and eventually reports that it is "Searching..." for signal. The issue which many had believed to be a hardware issue, or even design flaw, is actually related to the iPhone's operating system and the radio frequency calibration in the baseband. Apple is expected to release iOS 4 next week to address the issues.
