The specifications and pricing of the upcoming NVIDIA GTX 465 video card have been confirmed, following the release of numerous listings for the GTX 465 on Newegg. The recently unveiled GTX 465 is based on the cut-down 40nm GF100 chip and will feature a core clock speed of 607MHz, a shader clock running at 1215MHz and 352 CUDA cores. The GTX 465 also includes 1GB of 256-bit GDDR5 memory running at an effective clock speed of 3206MHz. As always, DirectX11 and SLI support is standard. The stock GTX 465 as detailed above retails at US$279.99, which is the same for all vendors. Interestingly not all cards are the same on release, with Palit and ASUS opting for dual-fan designs. The GTX 465 is expected to be available early next month and will compete with the ATI Radeon HD 5850.
