We've seen a couple of tech station style cases being reviewed over the last month or so including the Microcool Banchetto 101 (check out the OCC review here). It wasn't all that long ago that anything over 1GB of system memory was considered overkill. Now with 64-bit operating systems being able to overcome the 4GB address limitation and applications such as video processing being able to effectively use large amounts of memory, 4GB of memory is the lower limit for new systems. Today we get a chance to look at two memory kits including a 4GB kit from Kingston and a 12GB set from Crucial. There are an increasing number of factory-sealed kits available these days such as the CoolIT ECO A.L.C. (also reviewed by OCC here) that take some of the intimidation out of water cooling your system.
