Google Chrome has been improving its speed ever since it was released, with each build faster than the previous one. The Chrome 5 Beta, released yesterday, shows significant improvement in both the V8 and SunSpider JavaScript benchmarks. The 30-35% improvement in these benchmarks adds up to a nearly 305% improvement since the first beta. Google is even making its own videos to show off just how fast Chrome is, and while those videos aren't available yet, a making of video has been released. Numerous HTML5 features have also found their way into the latest build. Features such as geolocation and web sockets are now available, and Adobe Flash performance should also see an upgrade.
