Corsair has announced that it is adding two new drives to its Nova SSD series, a 32GB and a 256GB. Both drives use the Indilinx Barefoot controller, with the 32GB making an ideal main drive and the 256GB providing more storage for your needs. The 256GB drive can achieve read speeds up to 250MB/second and write speeds up to 195MB/second with the 32GB drive has read speeds up to 195MB/s and write speeds to 75MB/s. Both drives support the TRIM command available in Windows 7 to help keep each one in tip-top shape throughout the lifespan. The drives should be available right now from any retailer who sells Corsair products, though no price was given for either one. Each drive is backed by a two year warranty, which is nice, but I'd prefer seeing a longer warranty with an SSD.
