Hardware Roundup: Wednesday Edition

Category: Affiliate News
Posted: 04:25AM

We've seen quite a bit of interest on the review front in some of NZXT's products and today's roundup includes reviews on the Tempest EVO and Hades cases. Solid state drives have garnered large amounts of attention and press coverage over the past several months, and while they are undeniably going to play a large role in the future of storage, they just aren't there in terms of price/GB when compared to traditional spinning hard drives. In the past, the performance crown went to Western Digital's VelociRaptor drives and now the company has returned with the VelociRaptor VR200M, which keeps the same 2.5" form factor as its predecessor but doubles the capacity to 600GB. For portable, but secure, storage we also have another look at the Corsair Padlock 2 8GB USB flash drive. Be sure to check out all the reviews by using the links below.
