The launch of new uninteruptible power supplies is not something that usually garners attention, but two new models from APC should.  APC is getting set to launch two new UPS models, the BR1300G and BR1500G, which add some new features that will come in handy.  Both models come with an LCD screen that will display estimated runtime and a slew of other critical information along with having some new power-saving outlets added.  The power-saving outlets will cut off power to any unused device, so if your printer is plugged in but not powered on then the UPS will not supply any power to it which will potentially increase the runtime.  The new models will have a runtime between 92 and 164 minutes, with the BR1300G having six outlets and the BR1500G having ten.  Both models will also come with APC's PowerChute software to allow for more advanced power management.

No word on a launch date other then sometime in the second quarter, but the two models will have a price point between $129.99 and $249.99.
