With Windows Vista, it seemed as if users were clamoring for performance improvements, added features, and greater stability with Service Pack 1. Microsoft actually took the time and built a very solid operating system however concerning Windows 7, and has the product pretty much how the company wants it, besides new security fixes that are needed from time to time. In the Windows 7 Service Pack 1 update that is being worked on currently, the list of fixes does not include too many new features at the moment, besides an improved Remote Desktop that uses RemoteFX, which has been in Windows Server 2008 R2 for some time. All of the previous updates that have been released for Windows 7 will be included in the Service Pack, but new features are definitely not a priority in this update to the community.
