As we reported earlier, Verizon is was set to roll out the latest version of the Android operating system to its Motorola Droid user base with the initial phase set to begin around noon EDT today. That roll out never happened and reports out are saying it has been postponed with a new date to be determined later. No reason for the delay has been given but according to some anonymous reports the problem is not with Verizon or the update itself, but instead lies with the vendor Motorola uses to push out the updates over the air.
