Western Digital released its first consumer-grade solid state drive with yesterday's launch of the SiliconEdge Blue 256GB. As soon as the non-disclosure agreement expired we began seeing the first reviews appear and our roundup includes four different looks at the new drive. That's not all we have regarding SSDs as there is also a review on Marvell's 88SS9174-BJP2 SSD controller and a review covering the OCZ Vertex Limited Edition 100GB drive. Earlier this week we saw the release of AMD's new 890GX chipset and along with it several motherboards including the ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 890GX (check out the OCC review here). Also in today's roundup are Thermaltake's Element V full-tower chassis (also reviewed by OCC here), continuing coverage of the CeBIT show and more.
