The AT&T network is about to get much more crowded with the introduction of several Android phones, and some unannounced offerings from Palm. AT&T already features the iPhone and several BlackBerry models. Five Android phones are expected to arrive in the first half of the year, while the Palm phones are expected in the second half. Three of the announced Android phones will be coming from Motorola, HTC, and Dell. This can be seen as a smart move by AT&T, as the iPhone exclusivity deal may not last forever. When it ends, many believe that users will migrate to other networks. AT&T hopes to win some new customers with its latest offerings.
