Chrome Beta Comes to Mac and Linux

Beta versions of the Chrome internet browser from Google are now available for Mac and Linux operating systems. In addition, browser extensions were also made available to users of the beta versions. The version of the browser for Unix based OS has been in development for quite some time, with early versions released in June. The Chrome browser continues to focus on speed and security, with the code able to isolate buggy or malicious code. Chrome still represents a small share of the browser market, but it is picking up. I'll certainly be taking this for a spin very soon.
