The inevitable has finally come true – Google is launching real-time search results. With thousands of news outlets around the globe, and even more twitter accounts, it was only a matter of time before real-time access to these items became available via a search engine. Depending on where you are, you may have already noticed the change, but for most of us, we'll see the real-time results integrated with the search results within the next few days. For those that can't wait, you're able to get a sneak peek by visiting the Google Trends section and clicking on a "Hot Topic." For example, if you simply cannot get enough of the Tiger Woods story, get your head checked you can see the real-time search results in action here. It's really quite impressive and ensures you're always getting the latest information available on a given topic. If there was an option to exclude Twitter feeds, it'd be perfect.
