PS3 Gets Access to Netflix

PS3 owners will soon gain the ability to stream movies from Netflix, as long as they have an account. Xbox 360 owners have enjoyed this functionality for some time now, but the PS3 will have a distinct advantage. PS3 users won't have to pay anything beyond their Netflix subscription price, while Xbox users need to purchase an Xbox Live subscription as well. However, PS3 users will need a special Blu-ray disc to enable the PS3 to use the Blu-ray Live functionality. The disc can be obtained for free from Netflix, and a future software update may eliminate the need for it altogether.
