First Microsoft Store to Open Next Week

The first of Microsoft's new stores is set to open next week in Scottsdale, Arizona. These stores represent the counter to the Apple Stores that have been around for years. The store will open on Thursday, the same day that Windows 7 will become available. Steve Ballmer stated that Microsoft will open a few stores at a time, improving future stores along the way. While Microsoft initially said it would open stores right next to Apple, the nearest Apple Store is miles away in Phoenix.
