Intel's third quarter revenues beat analysts expectations of just over $9 billion by coming at $9.39 billion for the period. That figure is up $1.4 billion from the previous quarter, but doesn't reach the level achieved for Q3 of last year ($10.2 billion). Several areas of the company saw growth, including revenue generated by the Atom processor and Intel believes this shows how technology innovation plays an important part at the forefront of an economic recovery. Intel has more processor product launches lined up for the next two quarters, including 32nm parts and new netbook chips. It is predicting revenue of $10.1 billion (give or take $400 million) for Q4, though analysts are pitching it slightly lower than this.
