Corsair Unveils TX950W Power Supply Unit

Corsair has announced the launch of its latest power supply, the TX950W. The TX950W designed to provide clean and stable power for high-end consumers such as gamers, PC enthusiasts and designers at an affordable price. Features of the TX950W include Active Power Factor Correction (PFC), a single +12V rail which can provide up to 78A, 105°C solid-state capacitors and Over Current/Voltage/Power Protection, Under Voltage Protection and Short Circuit Protection. The TX950W is guaranteed to run at 100% load with an ambient temperature of 50°C and has passed 80 PLUS Bronze certification meaning at least 85% efficiency under real-world load conditions. It has also been tested for use in NVIDIA SLI and ATI Crossfire configurations. The TX950W PSU measures 150mm(W) x 86mm(H) x 160mm(L) and six 6+2-pin PCIe connectors in conjunction with extra-long cables make the TX950W easy to use in even the largest of set-ups. The Corsair TX950W is available immediately from retailers for approximately US$190 and is backed by a 5 year warranty.
