Transformers 3 Officially Announced

Category: General News

Transformers 3 was officially announced on the blog of Micheal Bay, director of the first 2 movies. Bay was unsure if he was going to sign on for the third installment in the series as he has other projects he would also like to work on, hopefully Bad Boys 3 is one of them. The movie is scheduled for release on July 1, 2011, meaning moviegoers will need to wait nearly 2 years to get more giant robot action. Bay said that he was meeting with Industrial Light and Magic today, and that he was also meeting with lead writer Ehren Kruger. Bay has also stated that there will be a “great story,” so this movie is definitely something to look forward too.

I found the opening scene while searching around: "The film starts with a C130 flying over New York city, or is it a C130? All of a sudden it crashes into the Hudson river and out jumps a giant robot, the robot rampages threw NYC and there is explosions and more explosions followed by a few more explosions. All of a sudden Bubble Bee races across the Brooklyn bridge and transforms to save the day, causing more destruction and explosions to nearby buildings while trying to take out the Decepticon. There will also be more explosions as F-22 raptors fly over head to try and take the robot out from the air, followed by three b2 bombers dropping a massive bomb payload on the robot. No of this seems to help, so they use the military uses their secret laser beam in space called the 'death star' to shoot the robot." This all appears to happen within the first thirty seconds, so it should be good! Sounds like Micheal Bay is really making this movie good this time with more explosions! P.S. Micheal Bay if you use this in your movie I demand royalties! I think George Lucas might sue you as well..
