Bose has always been known for its quality in sound products, whether the top is headphones or even speaker systems. The company has just recently revealed a new model of docking station available for iPhone and iPod owners, named the SoundDock 10. This new product is sadly priced very high, and when it goes into the market, it will sell for around $599. More players could be supported in the future, based on how consumers mold to the SoundDock 10, but as of now, the iPod and iPhone are the only devices supported, though a Bluetooth receiver can also be purchased. While it does feature fifty-two inches of waveguide channels, along with patented speakers known as Twiddlers that offer both highs and mids, $599 seems a bit pricey to pay for any iPod docking station when its main purpose is to play music files.

High priced and Bose go hand in hand.

Let me rephrase that... OVER priced and Bose go hand in hand...

I think most audiophiles will agree that their quality is pretty competitive to equipment that costs less than half of Bose's prices. For that inflated price, you can get something way better though.
