Archos has released the Archos 5 Internet Tablet, which is powered by Android. The device features a 4.8 inch touch screen capable of handling HD video, though it doesn't have support for full 1080p HD. An 800-MHz ARM processor powers the device that will also feature 802.11n, Bluetooth, and a GPS. Users will be able to load new apps right away, as the Android market comes standard on all devices. The Archos 5 can be purchased on the Archos website starting with the 16GB model at $299.99. However, there will be a wait as all models are currently out of stock.
