Google, which has long been facilitating online advertisements, has announced a new campaign to get the word out about Google Apps. This move is in hopes of taking some of the market currently dominated by Microsoft. If you haven't used the service already, it features software such as word processing and spreadsheets. I have just recently started to use it, and I love the service. The ad campaign will feature a series of billboards in Boston, Chicago, New York, and San Fransisco. There have already been nearly 2 million institutions and organizations that have made the switch, including Motorola. Google has also set up a spread the word website for users of Google Apps to tell others who may be unaware of the service. The service is free and you can access it from any of the Google pages, including your Gmail page.
