Blizzard is one company that just keeps the content coming as far as its games go. This has been seen many times with Diablo, StarCraft, as well as the Warcraft series. The company has recently announced Diablo 3 along with StarCraft 2, which should both be very large hits with consumers. With StarCraft being so popular however, it has recently been predicted that the game will sell around 4 million copies within the first couple months of the title hitting the retail stores. This seems pretty viable, as somehow World of Warcraft still is holding 11.5 million subscribers currently, and the original StarCraft has a number of 11 million copies sold since its release. While the game titles are obviously different, there are many, many gamers who are looking forward to the release of StarCraft 2 and will pick up a copy of the Blizzard game after it comes out.

I think it's actually going to hit 5 million in the first few months. Almost every Asian kid (12 or older) I know in real life has heard of or played StarCraft. And there are a lot of Asians. *This is not racist. A lot of the Asians I know play StarCraft. FACT. There are a lot of Asians. FACT.*

I can't wait for this. With my luck, it will come out during finals week or right before my VLSI project is due.
