Hardware Roundup: Friday Edition

Intel's latest solid state drives were announced earlier this week and we're already seeing reviews of the drives including a pair in today's roundup. The major changes seem to be in the use of 34nm process flash memory and a corresponding drop in price. The 160GB version is being offered at $440 which is less than half the original price of the first generation X25-M. Building a high-end system on a mATX board might seem like an oxymoron, but there's a new game in town when it comes to X58 based SFF boards and the MSI X58M may offer some serious competition to the Asus Rampage II Gene and at a lower price point.
